What are the check-in and check-out times?
Welcome! It is a great pleasure for my team and me to welcome you to Podere Casanova. We can’t wait to meet you! Here is some useful information to help you start your holiday in the best way:
CHECK-IN HOURS:
From 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Apartments will be available from 4:00 PM. Upon request, it is possible to arrange an early or late check-in.
IMPORTANT:
Please note that it is necessary to inform us of your arrival time no later than the day before your arrival. If you need to change the previously communicated time, don’t worry! You can do so, but we kindly ask you to notify us as soon as possible.

USEFUL INFORMATION:
Lisa is present at Podere Casanova every morning from Monday to Sunday, unless unforeseen circumstances arise, to welcome you with her smile and warm hospitality. For this reason, in-person check-in cannot be guaranteed every day, but please do not worry: Lisa will send you all the necessary information by email or WhatsApp so that you can access your apartment independently, including:
- your personalized access code for the apartment
- a link to book breakfast for the following day, which is included in the price
- a link to complete the self check-in
- a video tutorial explaining how to open the apartment
Please note that the access code will be personalized and will be valid from the day of check-in until 10:00 a.m. on the day of check-out. We kindly remind you to provide, at the time of booking, the phone number or email address you will be using during your trip, so that you can receive all the necessary information.

We kindly ask you to respect the check-out time to ensure that the next guests find the apartments ready and clean upon their arrival.
IN CASE OF DELAY:
A penalty of €50.00 will be applied for every 30 minutes of delay.
Early or Late Check-In: How Does It Work?
Early check-in is free, but it is available only upon request. However, it’s important to note:
- If you wish to arrive, for example, at 10:00 AM, you may do so, but access to the apartment may not be immediate unless it was already vacant the day before.
- Once we receive your request, we will do our best to complete the cleaning and sanitization of the apartment as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, you can:
- Store your luggage free of charge.
- Use the pool (depending on the season and opening hours).
- Explore the beautiful surroundings of Podere Casanova.
By leaving us your phone number or email, we’ll notify you as soon as the apartment is ready.
Note on Early or Late Check-In:
Lisa’s presence at the reception cannot be guaranteed every afternoon. For this reason, a few days before your arrival, we will send you all the information you need by email or WhatsApp to access Podere Casanova, including:
- your personalized access code for the apartment
- a link to book breakfast for the following day, which is included in the price

- a video tutorial explaining how to open the apartment

Our savoury and sweet breakfasts are included in the price.
Do you offer internet access?
Yes, Wi-Fi is free of charge.
Do you have air-conditioning and heating?
Yes, all the apartments have air conditioning and heating included in the price of your stay.
Do you have a swimming pool?
Yes, we have an infinity pool with a panoramic view.
Do you have cots and highchairs available?
Yes, for children up to 3 years old. The availability of cots and highchairs is limited, so please request this when booking. They are offered free of charge.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, debit cards, and Visa and Mastercard credit cards.
Is it possible to get an invoice?
Of course, just let us know on arrival.
Do you have a car park?
We have free outdoor and covered parking for our guests.
Can Podere Casanova be reached by public transport?
Podere Casanova is located in the Tuscan countryside, so it is absolutely necessary to have a car to reach the structure and to visit the wonderful surroundings.
Do you have a restaurant?
No, but on request on Tuesdays and Fridays we can prepare a typical dinner, pizzas, cold cuts and cheese platters, salads and other specialty with local products, all homemade, and you can order them for dinner from 6.00 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.
Is it possible to have dinner on a theme?
Not at the moment.
Are there riding schools nearby?
Yes, just 2 km away from Podere Casanova.
Which wine cellars do you recommend for visits or tastings?
There are many wine cellars in our area.

Do you hold cooking classes on the premises?
Not at the moment.
Do you offer wine tastings on the premises?
Not at the moment.
Is it possible to hire bikes or e-bikes in the area?
Near us in Montespertoli, just 7 km away from Podere Casanova is Toscana Bike, which rents a wide range of electric bikes as well as offering organised tours.
Is luggage storage available?
The luggage of departing or arriving guests can be stored at our reception.
Does Podere Casanova have a laundry area available?
Sure, both the washing machine and the dryer are available to all guests for a fee. Detergent is included in the price, and the washing machine can be used with euro coins only; the machine accepts coins ranging from €0.10 to €2. If needed, you can ask for change at the reception, but credit cards are not accepted (cash only).
Can I travel with my pets to the Podere? Is there an extra charge for them?
Of course! At the Podere, all pets are welcome and there are no additional costs. However, we kindly ask you to follow a few simple rules:
- dogs are allowed on the property, but must be kept on a leash to avoid disturbing other guests;
- dogs may access the pool area, as long as they are on a leash, but they are not allowed to approach or enter the pool itself;
- please bring special covers to protect sofas and beds if your furry friend is used to climbing on them;
- pets’ waste must always be collected.
